Martyna Łukasik (born ) is a Polish volleyball player and part of the Poland women's national volleyball team. Łukasik participated in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, 2018 Montreux Volley Masters and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. On club level she played for KPS Chemik Police KPS Chemik Police is the women's volleyball department of Polish sports club based in Police and plays in the Orlen Liga. 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship was the nineteenth edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for women's national teams under the age of 20, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB. The tournament was hosted by Mexico in the cities of Boca del Río and Córdoba from 14 to 23 July 2017. China defeated Russia in the final to capture their third title in the competition. Japan won the bronze medal after defeating Turkey in the third place match. Yang Hanyu from China was elected the Most Valuable Player. The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World Grand Prix in the international calendar. The competition was held between May and July 2018, and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. Imoco Volley
Imoco Volley is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Conegliano and currently playing in the Serie A1. History The club was founded on 15 March 2012, two months after the bankruptcy of the other volleyball team in Conegliano. In April 2012, it acquired a Serie A1 licence from , that meant the club started playing directly at the highest Italian league. It has been playing under the name since its foundation in 2012. The club won the Serie A1 for the first time in 2015–16, winning the Italian Super Cup a few months later on 8 December 2016. 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League will be the sixth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament.
