Marty Lees
Marty Lees is an American college baseball coach and former player who is currently the head coach and physical education teacher at Stillwater High School, a position he's held since 2023. Lees was the head coach of the Washington State Cougars from 2016 to 2019. Playing career Lees attended Lakeview High School in Lakeview, Oregon, where he was a member of the baseball and basketball teams. Upon graduation from Lakeview, Lees enrolled at Lane Community College, where he continued his baseball and basketball career. Lees then went on to Western Oregon University, where he continued his baseball career. Coaching career From 1998 to 1999, Lees was the head coach of Oakridge High School in Oakridge, Oregon. In 2000, Lees became the head coach for Harrisburg. Lees also coached the girls' basketball team at Harrisburg. Washington State Cougars Baseball
The Washington State Cougars baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Washington State University, located in Pullman, Washington. The Cougars' home venue is Bailey–Brayton Field, first opened for the 1980 season and located on the university's campus. The program has been a baseball member of the Pac-12 Conference in NCAA Division I since the start of the 1960 season, following the dissolution of the Pacific Coast Conference. Through 2014, the Cougars have appeared in four College World Series and 16 NCAA Tournaments. 2006 College World Series
The 2006 NCAA Division I baseball tournament was held from June 2 through June 26, . Sixty-four NCAA Division I college baseball teams met after having played their way through a regular season, and for some, a conference tournament, to play in the NCAA tournament. The tournament culminated with 8 teams in the College World Series at historic Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska. After winning the regional and super regional rounds of the 2006 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, eight teams advanced to Omaha. Tom Holliday (baseball)
Tom Holliday is an American former college baseball coach and current broadcaster. Holliday spent 40 consecutive years as either a head coach or assistant coach in Division 1 college baseball from 1976–2015, during which his teams made 17 College World Series appearances and won two NCAA National Championships (Arizona State in 1977 & Texas in 2005). He managed the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League from 2018 to 2023. Career Holliday spent 26 of his 40 years as an NCAA baseball coach at Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball, Oklahoma State University, where he was the head coach from 1997 to 2003.
