Marty Byrde
Martin Marty Byrde is a fictional character and the protagonist in the Netflix crime drama series ''Ozark''. He is portrayed by Jason Bateman. Character biography Background Marty Byrde is a mild-mannered financial advisor and graduate of Indiana State University. He initially runs a wealth management firm out of Chicago that he founded with Bruce Liddell, his best friend since college. Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is a mental disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood that last from days to weeks each.
