Martin Střelba
Martin Střelba (born 22 March 1967) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Career Střelba was the Czechoslovak junior champion in 1985. He reached the semi-finals of a Grand Prix event for the first time in 1988, in Prague. The following year he went one better and finished runner-up in Munich's BMW Open. His run to the final included wins over three top 20 players, Emilio Sánchez, Jonas Svensson and reigning Wimbledon champion Stefan Edberg, the latter in straight sets. In 1989 he also reached the quarter-finals of the Athens Open, Prague Open and in Kitzbühel. His only win in a Grand Slam match came in the 1990 French Open, where he defeated American Kelly Jones in four sets. Brandýs Nad Labem-Stará Boleslav
Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav (; german: Brandeis-Altbunzlau) is an administratively united pair of towns in Prague-East District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 19,000 inhabitants and it is the second largest Czech united pair of towns after Frýdek-Místek. Roberto Argüello
Roberto Argüello (born 12 May 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Argüello was an ambidextrous player, capable of using right-handed shots for balls to his right and left-handed stokes for balls to the left of him. He however favoured a two-handed forehand and backhand. The Argentine was the 1977 Junior Orange Bowl champion and four years later won the Under-18s Orange Bowl. In 1982, the year of the Falklands War, he left tennis in order to serve with the Argentine Army. He played just one tournament that season, the Buenos Aires Open in February. Argüello returned to the Grand Prix tennis circuit in 1983 and made an immediate impression, winning the Venice Open, as a qualifier. The 20-year-old defeated top seed Eliot Teltscher in the opening round and secured the tournament with a win over Jimmy Brown in the final. Vladimir Gabrichidze
Vladimir Gabrichidze (born 16 May 1968) is a former professional tennis player from Georgia. Career Gabrichidze won the doubles at the USSR Championships on six occasions and was also the singles winner once. He also represented the Soviet Union in their Davis Cup World Group qualifier in 1990. When he returned to the Davis Cup two years later, it was with the CIS team but from 1995 he competed for the Georgians. By the time he made his last Davis Cup appearance in 2002, Gabrichidze had taken part in 18 ties for Georgia, winning 11 of his 16 singles matches and 10 of 14 doubles rubbers. In 1991 he played in the biggest tournament of his career, the Italian Open, part of the ATP Tour's Championship Series. The Geneva Open Challenger, also known as IPP Trophy was a tennis tournament held in Geneva, Switzerland from 1988 to 2014. The event is part of the ATP Challenger Tour. Previously played on outdoor clay courts, it has been played indoors on hard GreenSet courts since 2011, at Sport Center of the Queue d'Arve. Raúl Antonio Viver (born 17 March 1961) is a former professional tennis player from Ecuador. Career Viver was the world number one ranked junior player in 1979, the year that he won the Orange Bowl (18s & Under). He also reached his only semi-final on the Grand Prix tennis circuit in 1979, at Bogota. In the 1982 French Open, Viver and partner Luca Bottazzi had a win over fifth seeds Anders Järryd and Hans Simonsson, but lost in the second round. Three years later he won his only Grand Slam singles match, over world number 42 John Fitzgerald. He was a mixed doubles quarter-finalist in the 1986 French Open, with Mariana Perez-Roldan. Andrei Eduardovich Chesnokov (russian: Андрей Эдуардович Чесноков, links=no; born 2 February 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Russia. Career Chesnokov's highest singles ranking was World No. 9 in 1991. The biggest tournament victories of his career came at the Monte Carlo Open in 1990, and at the Canadian Open in 1991 (both Tennis Masters Series events). The Grand Prix Hassan II is an annual men's tennis tournament on the ATP Tour and is currently part of the ATP Tour 250 series. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. Kelly Jones (born March 31, 1964) is an American former doubles world No. 1 tennis player. Jones reached the finals in doubles at the Australian and US Opens in 1992. He is currently the Head Men's Tennis Coach at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Biography Jones played varsity tennis at Pepperdine University from 1982 to 1985, where he won the NCAA Division 1 doubles title in 1984 and 1985. He was a member of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games U.S. tennis team. Jones joined the professional tour in 1986. He won his first top-level doubles title in 1987 at Auckland.
