Martin Nessley
Martin Scott Nessley (born February 16, 1965) is a retired American professional basketball player who had a brief career in the NBA during the 1987–88 season. He was a 7'2", 260 lb center. Nessley played college basketball at Duke University from 1983 to 1987 and was selected with the second pick in the sixth round of the 1987 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. Whitehall-Yearling High School
Whitehall-Yearling High School is a public high school located in Whitehall, Ohio, United States. History In 1954, Whitehall-Yearling High School admitted its first students. Work on the school was still going on while classes were in session. Classrooms were filled as they were completed. The graduating class of 1958 was the first class that was able to attend all twelve years of schooling in Whitehall. Whitehall-Yearling High School quickly distinguished itself in many areas. The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout.
