Martin Marinčin
Martin Marinčin (; born 18 February 1992) is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenceman for HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). He was drafted in the second round, 46th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Having been drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 46th overall, at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, on 25 April 2011, the Oilers signed Marinčin to a three-year, entry-level contract. During the 2013–14 season, Marinčin was called up to the Oilers, and on 5 December 2013, he made his NHL debut in a game against the Colorado Avalanche. On 27 June 2015, Marinčin was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Brad Ross and a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Toronto Marlies are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto. They compete in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a member of the North Division of the Eastern Conference. The Marlies is owned by Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, a company that owns several professional sports teams in the city, including their NHL affiliate, the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Marlies have played their home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum since 2005. The Marlies was established as the New Brunswick Hawks in 1978. The men's tournament in ice hockey at the 2014 Winter Olympics was held in Sochi, Russia between 12–23 February 2014. For the fifth consecutive Olympics, players from the National Hockey League participated. Twelve countries qualified for the tournament; nine of them did so automatically by virtue of their ranking by the International Ice Hockey Federation, while the other three took part in a qualification tournament. In the semi-finals, Canada won over the United States, and Sweden won over Finland. In the final, Canada defeated Sweden to win the tournament for the ninth time, and avenged their 1994 gold medal loss. Jason Zucker
Jason Alan Zucker (born January 16, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey left winger for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Zucker played in the 2010 World Juniors for Team USA, winning a gold medal. He was also a member of Team USA's bronze medal-winning team at the 2011 World Juniors. Playing for the University of Denver in 2010–11, he was the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Rookie of the Year. 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2011 IIHF World U20 Championship, commonly referred to as the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championships (''2011 WJHC''), was the 35th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship and was hosted by the United States. The games were played in Western New York, at HSBC Arena in Buffalo and Niagara University's Dwyer Arena in Lewiston. The men's tournament in ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics took place in Beijing, China between 9 and 20 February 2022.
