Martin Hunter (football Coach)
Martin Hunter is an English football coach. In his time in football he has held coaching positions at Bradford City, Stoke City, Norwich City, Watford and Southampton. Career Hunter started his career as a teacher. At Bridgewater Hall School, part of the Stantonbury Campus in Milton Keynes, he taught Physical Education and Geography between 1979 and 1987. He holds the UEFA Pro Licence and has also run coaching courses to help others achieve that qualification. Hunter worked as the assistant manager at Bradford City and Stoke City. He subsequently worked for The Football Association for 13 years. Initially he was a regional director of coaching, before landing head coach roles with England's Under-15s, Under-16s and finally the Under-19s. As Under-19 head coach Hunter worked with some future full international players, including Joe Cole, Theo Walcott and Michael Carrick. Martin Hunter (British Army Officer)
General Sir Martin Hunter (1757–1846) was a British Army officer, and governor of Stirling Castle. In 1797, he married Scottish heiress Jean Dickson (died 1845). They had a large family, including daughter Margaret Dysart Hunter who married Charles Samuel Grey, son of Sir George Grey, 1st Baronet Grey of Fallodon and nephew of Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom who abolished slavery in the British Empire in 1833. Hunter joined the army in 1771, as an ensign in the 52nd (Oxfordshire) Regiment of Foot, and was made lieutenant in 1775. He accompanied his regiment to America, where he saw action during the American Revolutionary War at Bunker Hill, Brooklyn, Brandywine, and Fort Washington. Martin Hunter (canoeist)
Martin Hunter (born 3 October 1965) is an Australian sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. He won three medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold (K-1 500 m: 1989) and two bronzes (K-1 500 m: 1990, K-2 500 m: 1994). Hunter also competed in two Summer Olympics, earning his best finish of seventh in the K-1 500 m event at Seoul in 1988. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' in 1987, by order of first appearance. Tina Hopkins Tina Hopkins, played by Eleanor Rhodes, is introduced as Ian Beale's ( Adam Woodyatt) girlfriend in February 1987. Ian's friend Kelvin Carpenter (Paul J. Medford) takes a romantic interest in Tina and makes advances towards her, which she shuns.
