Martin Bower
Martin Bower (born 1952) is a model maker and designer of special effects miniatures for both film and television. His credits include the television series '' Space: 1999'' (1975-8), ''Blake's 7'' (1978–81) and ''The Tripods'' (1984–85), and the films '' Alien'' (1979), '' Flash Gordon'' (1980) and '' Outland'' (1981). He has a long-standing professional relationship with special effects director Brian Johnson. ''Alien'' is a 1979 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Dan O'Bannon. ''Flash Gordon'' is a 1980 space opera film directed by Mike Hodges, based on the King Features comic strip of the same name created by Alex Raymond. The film stars Sam J.
