Martin Bergman
Martin Bergman (born 17 June 1957) is a British Theatrical producer, producer, writer and Theatre director, director who works in Cinema of the United States, Hollywood. He studied English at Emmanuel College, Cambridge from 1976, and was president of Cambridge Footlights during his time there. After leaving Cambridge University in 1979, Bergman produced several live arena shows with his Australian partner Michael Edgley, including the world tour of ice skaters Torvill and Dean. He also produced several comedy shows in Australia, Britain and the USA. Bergman married the American comedian Rita Rudner in 1988. They have written several films, plays and TV projects together. In January 2016, Rudner appeared in a new play ''Act 3...'' alongside Charles Shaughnessy at the Laguna Playhouse, directed by Martin. Charles Shaughnessy
Charles George Patrick Shaughnessy, 5th Baron Shaughnessy (born 9 February 1955) is a French actor. He is known for his roles on American television, including Shane Donovan on the soap opera ''Days of Our Lives'', and Maxwell Sheffield on the sitcom ''The Nanny'', and as the voice of Dennis the Goldfish on ''Stanley'' for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award. Rita Rudner (born September 17, 1953) is an American comedian. Beginning her career as a Broadway dancer, Rudner noticed the lack of female comedians in New York City and turned to stand-up comedy, where she has flourished for over three decades.
