Martha Mariana Castro (born November 7, 1966) is a Mexican actress. She was married to actor Fernando Luján, with whom she has a son, Franco Paolo Ciangherotti. Early life Born in Cuautla, Morelos, she grew up in the city of Puebla and earned a degree in Philosophy and Literature from the Universidad de Puebla. She began her acting career as a child in plays. , she is the protagonist of ''Los Sánchez'', a telenovela on TV Azteca based on the Argentine production ''Los Roldán''. In this production she plays the role of Yoli, a woman in love with her widower brother-in-law. Fernando Luján (born Fernando Ciangherotti Díaz; August 23, 1938 – January 11, 2019) was a Mexican actor. He was a star of the silver screen in classic mexican films during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. His father; Alejandro Ciangherotti Erbelia, his mother; Mercedes Soler (Mercedes Diaz Pavia), brother Alejandro Ciangherotti Jr., wife Martha Mariana Castro, sons Fernando Ciangherotti, Fernando Canek and daughters Cassandra Ciangherotti and Vanessa Ciangherotti were or are also actors. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include ''teleserye'' (Philippines), ''téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). "La Paloma", "The Dove" in English, is a popular Spanish song that has been produced and reinterpreted in diverse cultures, settings, arrangements, and recordings over the last 140 years. The song was written by the Spanish Basque composer Sebastián Iradier (later Yradier) around 1860 after a visit to Cuba. In 1879, it was registered at the copyright office in Madrid as a "Canción Americana con acompañamiento de Piano". Iradier was to die in obscurity within few years, never to learn how popular his song would become.
