Marske-by-the-Sea
Marske-by-the-Sea is a village in the unitary authority of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the coast, between the seaside resorts of Redcar and Saltburn-by-the-Sea, although it is not itself a seaside resort. Marske is in the civil parish of Saltburn, Marske and New Marske and comprises the wards of Longbeck (shared with New Marske) and St Germains. History Marske is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Adam Joseph Boyes (born 1 November 1990) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a striker for Marske United. Boyes started his career with the York City youth system, before making his first-team debut in 2008. Following a trial with Manchester United, he signed a professional contract at York and he scored his first goal against Kidderminster Harriers. After playing in the Final of the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium, he joined Scunthorpe United in 2009. He had loans with former club York and Kidderminster Harriers during the 2009–10 season. Jason Brian Kennedy (born 11 September 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Marske United. In his 12-year-long playing career, Kennedy spent most of his career with Rochdale with whom he signed in 2009, going on to appear in 177 official games. Connor Charles Smith (born 14 October 1996) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a winger for Whitby Town. He has played for Hartlepool United, Spennymoor Town, York City and Marske United. Early life Smith was born in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham.
