Marshall Ridge
Marshall Ridge () is a ridge to the east of Blue Glacier (Antarctica), Blue Glacier on the Scott Coast of Victoria Land, Antarctica, running east–west and rising to about between Garwood Valley and Marshall Valley. The feature was almost surely observed in 1903 by the Koettlitz Glacier party led by Lieutenant A.B. Armitage of the British National Antarctic Expedition, but it was first clearly mapped by Captain Robert F. Scott's second expedition, the Terra Nova Expedition, British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13. Blue Glacier (Antarctica)
Blue Glacier is a large glacier which flows into Bowers Piedmont Glacier about south of New Harbour, in Victoria Land, Antarctica. Robbins Hill is the East-most rock unit on the north side of the terminus of the glacier. It was discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition under Robert Falcon Scott Captain Robert Falcon Scott, , (6 June 1868 – c. 29 March 1912) was a British Royal Navy officer and explorer who led two expeditions to the Antarctic regions: the ''Discovery'' expedition of 1901–1904 and the ill-fated ''Terra Nov ..., 1901–04, who gave it this name because of its clear blue ice at the time of discovery.
