Marshall Elevator
Marshall Elevator was the oldest elevator company in the United States. It was founded in 1818 by John Marshall. Marshall & Son originally was a Blacksmith, but in the 1840s, they started to produce elevators of all kinds. A blacksmith is a metalsmith who creates objects primarily from wrought iron or steel, but sometimes from #Other metals, other metals, by forging the metal, using tools to hammer, bend, and cut (cf. tinsmith).
