Marshall Brown (basketball, Born 1985)
Marshall D. Brown (born March 11, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Missouri before playing professionally in England, Brazil, Japan, Australia and Ukraine, as well as in the Premier Basketball League and the NBA Development League. High school career Brown attended Lyndon B. Johnson High School in Austin, Texas where he played basketball under head coach Freddy Roland. As a junior in 2002–03, he averaged 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game. In November 2003, Brown signed a National Letter of Intent to play college basketball for the University of Missouri. Brown earned first-team All-State and first-team All-Region honors playing for Lyndon B. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. Premier Basketball League
The Premier Basketball League, often abbreviated to the PBL, is an American professional men's basketball minor league that began play in January 2008. The league folded after the 2017 season. It was announced that the league would be revived under new management for the 2020 season. The league announced due coronavirus outbreak the season would be put on hold. Mike Anderson (basketball Coach)
Michael Andre Anderson (born December 12, 1959) is an American basketball coach, currently the head coach of the St. John's Red Storm. He came to St. John's after previously serving as head coach at UAB, Missouri and Arkansas. He also served as an assistant/associate head coach under Nolan Richardson at Arkansas for 17 years. Over his 20 seasons as a head coach, Anderson has compiled a 414–235 record, 11 20-win campaigns, 9 NCAA Tournament appearances, two Sweet 16 berths and a run to the 2009 Elite Eight.
