Marsha Warfield
Marsha Francine Warfield (born March 5, 1954) is an American actress and comedian. She grew up on Chicago's South Side, graduating from Calumet High School. She is best known for her 1986–92 role of Roz Russell on the Top 10 rated NBC sitcom ''Night Court''. Roz was the tough, no-nonsense bailiff in Judge Stone's court. Warfield also starred in the sitcom ''Empty Nest'' as Dr. Maxine Douglas (1993–95). Before ''Night Court'', she was a writer and performer on the short-lived '' Richard Pryor Show''. Warfield appeared in feature films such as ''D.C. Cab'' (1983) and ''Mask'' (1985), hosted ''The Marsha Warfield Show'' for ten months (March 1990–January 1991) and has made guest appearances on many television shows, including ''Riptide'', ''Family Ties'', ''Clueless'', ''Cheers'', ''Living Single'', ''In Living Color'', ''Moesha'' and ''Touched by an Angel''. Stand-up comedy is a comedy, comedic performance to a live audience in which the performer addresses the audience directly from the stage. The performer is known as a comedian, a comic or a stand-up. Stand-up comedy consists of One-line joke, one-liners, stories, observations or a shtick that may incorporate Theatrical property, props, comedy music, music, Magic (illusion), magic tricks or ventriloquism. ''The John Larroquette Show'' is an American sitcom television series that aired on NBC from September 2, 1993, until October 30, 1996. Created by Don Reo, the show was a star vehicle for John Larroquette following his run as Dan Fielding on ''Night Court''. The series takes place in a seedy bus terminal in St. Louis, Missouri, and originally focused on the somewhat broken people who worked the night shift, and in particular, the lead character's battle with alcoholism. ''The Addams Family'' is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and based on the eponymous comic strip characters by Charles Addams.
