Marsha Haefner
Marsha Haefner (born July 8, 1951) is an American politician. She was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, serving since first being elected in 2010 to January 2019. She is a member of the Republican Party. Public office Haefner was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2010 from the 95th District. She defeated Democratic challenger Andrew Spavale. While in the state House, she was Chair of the Fiscal Review Committee and a member of the Ethics Committee and Joint Committee on Tax Policy among others. Potential campaign for U.S. Senate Haefner considered a run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Claire McCaskill after receiving encouragement from Republican U.S. Rep. Ann Louise Wagner (née Trousdale, September 13, 1962) is an American politician and diplomat serving as the U.S. representative for Missouri's 2nd congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, she was the United States ambassador to Luxembourg from 2005 to 2009. Her district, based in St. Louis County, is heavily suburban and the state's wealthiest. It includes most of St. Louis's southern and western suburbs as well as some of the northern exurbs in St. Charles County and the northern part of Jefferson County. Claire Conner McCaskill (; born July 24, 1953) is an American politician who served as a United States Senator from Missouri from 2007 to 2019 and as State Auditor of Missouri from 1999 to 2007. McCaskill is a native of Rolla, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri and the University of Missouri School of Law.
