Marsha Cox
Marsha Cox (née Marescia; born 13 January 1983 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal) is a field hockey player from South Africa women's national field hockey team, South Africa, who was a member of the national squad that finished 9th at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The midfielder comes from Durban, and is nicknamed ''Nator''. She plays for the provincial team Southern Gauteng. International career Marsha is the South African team captain. She made her début in October 2001 at the age of 18 and has since gone on to represent her country at three Olympic Games and two World Cups, earning over 300 caps. She has also competed at four Commonwealth Games, and was part of the South African team that finished in 4th place at the Hockey at the 2014 Commonwealth Games – Women's tournament, 2014 Commonwealth Games. Luciana Aymar
Luciana Paula Aymar (; born 10 August 1977) is an Argentine retired field hockey player. She is the only player in history to receive the FIH Player of the Year Awards, FIH Player of the Year Award eight times, and she is considered as the best female hockey player of all time. In 2010 she was granted the Platinum Konex Award as the best Hockey player of the last decade in Argentina. Luciana is known for her ability to beat opposing players using her pace and dribbling skills, drawing comparisons with Argentinian Association football, footballer Diego Maradona. For this reason she has received the nicknames "La Maga" ("The Magician") and "The Maradona of Field Hockey". Women's field hockey at the 2006 Commonwealth Games took place between 16 March and 25 March. The competition consisted of a round robin stage of two groups of five with the winners and runners-up of each group qualifying for the semifinals.
