''Marry Me Tonight'' is the debut album by Berlin-based Australian band HTRK, released on 2 February 2009. Produced by Lindsay Gravina and Rowland S. Howard of The Birthday Party, the album was the group's first full-length release and was distributed by record label Blast First Petite. The music incorporates elements of noise rock, shoegaze and other genres and received positive reviews on its release. HTRK
HTRK (formerly Hate Rock Trio) is an Australian band formed in 2003. The band is currently a duo of vocalist Jonnine Standish and guitarist Nigel Yang; bassist Sean Stewart was a member until his death in 2010. The band's debut album was produced by Rowland S. Howard. Biography Emergence Originating from Melbourne, and previously based in Berlin and London, HTRK (pronounced Hate Rock) started playing in November 2003 when guitarist Nigel Yang and bassist Sean Stewart invited vocalist Jonnine Standish to create music inspired by the surrealistic films of David Lynch, along with protopunk and post-industrial ideas. Using a very slow 808 drum machine, minimal bass grooves and highly textured noise, their attitude clashed with the "rock and roll" status quo in Australia. MY DISCO (stylised in capitals) is an Australian music group formed in 2003. It contains members from Agents of Abhorrence and Clann Zú. Background MY DISCO was formed in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia, by brothers Ben and Liam Andrews (both originally from London) and Rohan Rebeiro. They took their name from a song by Big Black. Based between London and Melbourne since 2010, their first public appearance was performed at The Good Morning Captain, a cafe and performance space in Collingwood, a suburb of Melbourne.
