Marriage Of Inconvenience
''Marriage of Inconvenience'' (Traditional Chinese: 兩妻時代) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in November 2007, starring Bobby Au Yeung, Angela Tong and Toby Leungas the main leads. Synopsis The owner of a marriage bureau, the candid Kong Hoi-chuen (Bobby Au Yeung), has no luck in finding a girlfriend. He meets Miu Ling ( Angela Tong), who has just been disappointed in love, by chance. With his words of consolation, Ling is able to recover. Six months later, Ling agrees to marry Chuen. The marriage lasts happily for three years, husband and wife end up working in the marriage bureau in a home they adore. Just when Chuen thinks that he is the happiest husband in the world, Ling's ex-lover Ivan ( Raymond Wong) returns. Several years ago Ivan left Ling because he didn't want to be 'tied down' in a relationship, but now he wants a second chance. Bobby Au Yeung
Robert Au-yeung Tsan-wah (born 28 July 1960) is a Hong Kong actor best known for his comedic roles in many TVB television dramas. He gained wide public attention in the 1990s for his portrayal of Ben Yu in the 1991 legal drama ''File of Justice'', appearing in all five seasons. Au-yeung is also known for his lead roles in several of TVB's most successful television series franchises, including ''Armed Reaction'', ''Witness to a Prosecution'', and '' Forensic Heroes''. He is most recognised by TV audiences for his shaved head. Au-yeung graduated from TVB's Artiste Training Academy in 1982 and began appearing in many television dramas as background extras, to roles with minor speaking parts, and later to major supporting roles. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. TVB is headquartered at TVB City at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. TVB commenced broadcasting on November 19, 1967. TVB Anniversary Awards (2008)
The TVB Anniversary Awards (), officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honoring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three (four, including Asian Television Awards) TVB awards given out. The other two types of TVB awards that are given out before the anniversary awards are: TVB Star Awards Malaysia and StarHub TVB Awards (Singapore).
