Marcos Vinícius dos Santos Gonçalves (born 24 May 1979), known as Marquinhos Santos, is a Brazilian football manager. Career Born in Santos, São Paulo, Santos played youth football for Santos FC as a midfielder, but never played professionally. In 1999 he moved to Curitiba, and started working in a small football school in the city called Sociedade Morgenau. In 2003, Santos joined Atlético Paranaense, being in charge of the youth squads until 2009, when he joined Coritiba's under-20 squad. In 2011 he was appointed manager of the Brazil under-15 national team, and took over the under-17s in the following year, after Emerson Ávila was in charge of the under-20s. On 6 September 2012, Santos returned to Coritiba, now being appointed first team manager after the dismissal of Marcelo Oliveira. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. The 2014 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A was the 58th edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top-level of professional football in Brazil. Marcelo de Oliveira Santos (born 4 March 1955) is a Brazilian professional football manager and former player who last managed Ponte Preta. Emerson Ávila
Emerson Rodrigues Ávila (born 16 July 1967) is a Brazilian professional football coach. He is the current assistant coach of Goiás. Career Emerson Ávila had worked for Cruzeiro for 10 years and since 2005 he had been an assistant coach for Cruzeiro.
