Marq Torien
Marq Torien (born Mark Joseph Maytorena on September 22, 1961 in Los Angeles, California) is the lead singer of the hard rock act BulletBoys. He is the only member to have remained with the group since the release of their self-titled debut album in 1988. History Prior to BulletBoys, Torien was a guitarist in the then-unsigned band Ratt, a guitarist for the band Hawk, a member of Motown recording artists Kagny & the Dirty Rats, a lead vocalist briefly for the band King Kobra. In 1984, Torien formed the band Touch with multi-instrumentalist Marc Danzeisen, future Icon frontman Jerry Harrison, and future Chalk FarM bassist Orlando Sims. The group recorded a five song demo, which was heard by Sylvester Stallone during his search for new acts to perform songs for Rocky IV. The band recorded "The Sweetest Victory" which did not appear in the film but was included on the soundtrack. The song was featured in Stallone's director's cut of the film in 2021. Chalk Farm is a small urban district of north London, lying immediately north of Camden Town, in the London Borough of Camden. History Manor of Rugmere Chalk Farm was originally known as the Manor of Rugmere, an estate that was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. The manor was one of five which made up the large Ancient Parish of St Pancras. Rugmere is thought to mean ''the Woodcock's Pool''. Henry VIII bought part of the manor, detaching it to form the north-eastern part of what would become Regent's Park, the remainder subsequently become more commonly known as Chalk Farm. ''Freakshow'' is the second album by American glam metal band BulletBoys. It was released in 1991 by Warner Bros. Records. It is the follow-up to their successful self-titled debut. The album peaked at Number 69 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Their cover of Tom Waits's " Hang on St. Christopher" reached 22 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Videos were made for "THC Groove", "Hang on St. Christopher", and "Talk to Your Daughter". In 2005, Wounded Bird Records re-released the album along with the follow-up, ''Za-Za'', on a single disc. Critical reception ''Entertainment Weekly'' thought that "the problem is that all he band'scharm has no foundation to stand on; there are no hooks or memorable melodies here." Randy Rhoads
Randall William Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American guitarist. He was the co-founder and original guitarist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot, and the guitarist and co-songwriter for Ozzy Osbourne's first two solo albums ''Blizzard of Ozz'' (1980) and '' Diary of a Madman'' (1981). Rhoads was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Originally educated in classical guitar, Rhoads combined these early influences with heavy metal, helping to form a subgenre later known as neoclassical metal. With Quiet Riot, he adopted a black-and-white polka-dot theme which became an emblem for the group. He reached his peak as the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne's solo career, performing on tracks including "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" on the ''Blizzard of Ozz'' album. John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". Rodolfo Maximiliano Sarzo Lavieille Grande Ruiz Payret y Chaumont (born November 18, 1950) is a Cuban American hard rock/ heavy metal bassist. He remains best known for his work with Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, and Whitesnake, and has also played with several well known heavy metal and hard rock acts including Manic Eden, Dio, Blue Öyster Cult, Geoff Tate's Queensrÿche, Devil City Angels, and The Guess Who. He rejoined Quiet Riot in 2021, but has agreed to finish tour with The Guess Who until a replacement can be found. Early life Sarzo was born in Havana on November 18, 1950.
