''Marmik'' (Marathi: मार्मिक ''Mārmik'') meaning: traight from the heart/A silent word that goes directly to the Heart is an Indian weekly published by the Shiv Sena from Mumbai, until publication of its daily ''Saamana'' it was Shiv Sena's organ. It is seen as the frontrunner or launchpad for the Shiv Sena party. It focused on issues of common Marathi man or Maratha Manoos including unemployment, influx of migrant, retrenchment of Marathi workers and its office in Ranade Road became the rallying point for Marathi youth. Bal Thackeray (; 23 January 1926 – 17 November 2012), also known as Balasaheb Thackeray, was an Indian politician who founded the Shiv Sena, a right-wing pro-Marathi and Hindu nationalist party active mainly in the state of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena ( IAST: ''Śiva Sēnā'') () was a right-wing to far-right Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultranationalist political party in India founded in 1966 by cartoonist Bal Thackeray. Originally emerging from nativist movements in Bombay (present-day Mumbai), the party agitated for preferential treatment for the Marathi people over migrants from other parts of India. Its election symbol for Maharashtra was the ''Bow and Arrow''. Although the party's primary base always remained in Maharashtra, it tried to expand to a pan-Indian base. ''Saamana'' is a Marathi-language newspaper published in Maharashtra, India. The paper was launched on 23 January 1988 by Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Shiv Sena, a local, regional and language driven; political party; in the Indian state of Maharashtra. A Hindi version of the paper, ''Dopahar Ka Saamana'' popularly known as Hindi Saamana, was launched on 23 February 1993. Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan (Marathi pronunciation: əʃʋənt̪ɾaːʋ t͡səʋʱaːɳ 12 March 1913 – 25 November 1984) was an Indian politician. He served as the last Chief Minister of Bombay State and the first of Maharashtra after latter was created by the division of Bombay state. His last significant ministerial post was as the Deputy Prime Minister of India in the short lived Charan Singh government in 1979. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics.
