Marlene Alvarenga
Marlene Alvarenga (born 14 February 1985), is a Honduran politician and pastor, current president of Anti-Corruption Party since 22 May 2017 and candidate to president in 2017 general election and member of the National Congress since 2013. Marlene was born in Tegucigalpa into a Christian Evangelical family where politics was a taboo subject. She completed her studies at the Normal School of Spain of Danlí, and obtained her university degree at the Technological University of Honduras (UTH), where she also obtained her master's degree in human resources. Before being elected deputy in 2013, Marlene and her husband, police officer Rubén Santos Rivera, were pastors who were dedicated to preaching the word of God in an evangelical church. This while Marlene was waiting for her second child. She was also dedicated to helping children in need of the street. Osman Danilo Chávez Güity (; born 29 July 1984) is a former Honduran footballer who played as a center back for last time in Honduran club CD Vida. Cachiros
Cachiros or Los Cachiros is the name of a Honduran criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking. It was founded in the early 1990s by a group of cattle farmers in the departments of Colón and Olancho de Honduras. One of the leaders of the Cachiros, Javier Maradiaga, also known as "Javier Cachiro", surrendered to the US government in January 2015. During the trial, Maradiaga pleaded guilty to the charge of drug trafficking. After Maradiaga's statement, Honduran authorities seized goods valued between 500 and 800 million dollars. The net worth of the Cachiros is valued at more than one billion dollars. Francisco Morazán Department
Francisco Morazán (), FMO is one of the departments of Honduras. It is located in the central part of the nation. The departmental capital is Tegucigalpa, which is also Honduras's national capital. Until 1943 it was known as Tegucigalpa department. It was named after national hero Francisco Morazán. The department is very mountainous, with rugged ranges covered in pine forests; which are rocky and mostly clay. Valleys, like those of Guaimaca, Talanga, and Amarateca, are interspersed among the ranges. Many of the high mountain peaks house cloud forests, like La Tigra National park or Cerro Uyuca.
