Markus Wallner
Markus Wallner (born 20 July 1967) is an Austrian politician (ÖVP). Since 2011, he has been the governor of Vorarlberg. Life and work Markus Wallner was born on 20 July 1967, the son of Herwig and Theresia Wallner in the district capital of Bludenz. He graduated from his gymnasium in 1985. After graduation he began to study political science and history at the University of Innsbruck, where he was the chairman of the Student Union. In the Association of Industrialists Vorarlberg, he was then in charge of public relations in 1993. On 18 August 1995, he married his wife Sonja, and has three children. Political Beginnings In 1994, Wallner was first went into politics in contact when he formally became a member of the Austrian People's Party and was employed in the provincial office of the Vorarlberg People's Party in Bregenz. Hans-Peter Bischof (born 21 January 1947, Götzis, Austria) is an Austrian medical doctor and former politician in the federal state of Vorarlberg for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). From 1997 to 1999, and from 2004 to 2006, he was the governor of Vorarlberg Federal State Department. Education and profession Bischof was born on 21 January 1947, the son of the municipal physician of Götzis, Leopold Bischof and his wife Herta in Götzis. Karlheinz Rüdisser (born 25 February 1955, Bregenz, Austria) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), who, since December 2011, is the state administrator of Vorarlberg. He is married and lives with his wife and a daughter and two sons in Lauterach. Vorarlberg Online
Vorarlberg ( , ; gsw, label= Vorarlbergisch, Vorarlbearg, , or ) is the westernmost state () of Austria. It has the second-smallest geographical area after Vienna and, although it also has the second-smallest population, it is the state with the second-highest population density (also after Vienna). Andrea Kaufmann (née Blenk; born 19 March 1969, in Dornbirn, Austria) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) from Vorarlberg. Greti Schmid (née Pohlin; born 24 May 1954) is a former Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Schmid was, from 2000 to 2014, part of the provincial Council in the federal state government of Vorarlberg. Education Schmid was born at Bruneck in the South Tyrol in Italy. Frastanz is a market town in the district of Feldkirch in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. In former times it was known for its production of tobacco.
