Markus Karlsson (footballer, Born 1972)
Bo Markus Karlsson (born 30 August 1972) is a Swedish former professional association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. Karlsson joined Djurgården from BKV Norrtälje for the 1996 Djurgårdens IF season, 1996 season as a midfielder. He was captain of the very successful Djurgården squad that won back-to-back Swedish championships in 2002 and 2003, including the league-cup double in 2002. He later played for Rot-Weiß Essen, Stabæk Fotball, IF Brommapojkarna and IFK Lidingö FK. Karlsson married Swedish and Djurgårdens IF Fotboll (women), Djurgårdens IF footballer Elin Flyborg – both husband and wife were Swedish football champions in the 2003 season. He is the father of Djurgårdens IF Fotboll (women), Djurgårdens IF footballer Nea Flyborg. IFK Lidingö
IFK Lidingö is a Swedish sports club, part of the IFK system, based on the island of Lidingö outside Stockholm. Although the club takes part in numerous sports, it is most famous for its football, athletics and orienteering sections. The football team are called IFK Lidingö FK. The club was founded in 1932 and in 1985 it became an alliance club with independent sections. It currently has 400 members, most of them under around 15 years of age. Idrottsföreningen Brommapojkarna, more commonly known as Brommapojkarna (meaning ''the Bromma boys'') or simply BP, is a Swedish football club located in the borough of Bromma, in the western parts of Stockholm municipality. Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names.
