Mark Young (wrestler)
Luke Joseph "Joe" Mark Scarpa Jr. (April 23, 1967 – February 25, 2016) was an American professional wrestler, known by his ring name Mark Young, who competed in the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s and early 1990s, World Championship Wrestling, and many independent promotions. He was the adopted son of Chief Jay Strongbow. Early life Scarpa was a second generation wrestler; his adopted father was Chief Jay Strongbow who wrestled in the World Wide Wrestling Federation in the 1970s and 1980s. Career Early years (1986–1989) He was trained by Stu Hart and made his professional wrestling debut in 1986 for Stampede Wrestling in Calgary, wrestling as Mark Scarpa. He left the promotion in January 1987. Scarpa signed with the World Wrestling Federation as a wrestler in star spangled banner trunks to represent his country. Chief Jay Strongbow
Luke Joseph Scarpa (October 4, 1928 – April 3, 2012) was an American professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer who was best known by the ring name Chief Jay Strongbow. Much like his contemporary Wahoo McDaniel, he portrayed a Native American wrestler, who wore a war bonnet to the ring and would "go on the warpath" when the fans started cheering him against an opponent. In reality (and unlike McDaniel, who was an actual Choctaw-Chickasaw Native-American), Jay was an Italian-American who much like actor Iron Eyes Cody portrayed an Indian to stand-out more. Bill Woods
William Woods (born 1962 in Moruya, New South Wales) is an Australian television journalist, radio and television broadcaster, and author. He is best known as the presenter, alongside Sandra Sully, of Network Ten's '' Ten News at Five'' in Sydney (a role which he left in November 2012) and '' Sports Tonight.'' He co-hosted '' Bill & Boz'' on Fox Sports News. Barry Horowitz (born March 24, 1959) is an American professional wrestler, best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Early life Horowitz attended Florida State University, where he studied sports nutrition and wrestled. Professional wrestling career Early career (19791987) Horowitz trained as a professional wrestler under Boris Malenko in Tampa, Florida for 18 months and debuted in 1979 on the Floridian independent circuit. Breakdancing, also called breaking or b-boying/b-girling, is an athletic style of street dance originating from the African American and Puerto Rican communities in the United States. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, breakdancing mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. Breakdancing is typically set to songs containing drum breaks, especially in hip-hop, funk, soul music and breakbeat music, although modern trends allow for much wider varieties of music along certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns. The modern dance elements of breakdancing originated among the poor youth of New York during the early 1970s, where it was introduced as breaking. Daniel Briley (born June 30, 1952), better known by the ring name "Nightmare" Danny Davis, is an American retired professional wrestler and referee. He is the founder and former owner of Ohio Valley Wrestling. Career Briley started wrestling in 1977 in the Tennessee territory, where he made a name for himself as "Nightmare" Danny Davis. He would also wrestle as one half of the masked Masters of Terror in the United States Wrestling Association. Davis had a frequent tag team with Ken Wayne in the 1980s. The Nightmares were a wrestling tag team consisting of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne. History Danny Davis and Ken Wayne began teaming up as the masked Nightmares in 1981 in Continental Wrestling Association (CWA) in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1982, they went up to Canada to wrestle for Stampede Wrestling. It wasn't until August 1984 when they won their first championship together, the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship, defeating The Rock 'n' Roll Express. They would hold onto the titles for nearly a month, before losing them to Dutch Mantel and Tommy Rich.
