Mark Vital
Mark Vital Jr. (born November 7, 1997) is an American football tight end and basketball guard who is a free agent. He played college basketball at Baylor University before transitioning shortly after winning a National Championship during his basketball career at Baylor University and playing in the NBA Summer League with the Portland Trail Blazers to pursue a career in the NFL. Early life and high school career Vital was labeled "middle school basketball's most impressive dunker" by Yahoo Sports in June 2012. He gave up football to focus on basketball in eighth grade. Vital began high school at Washington-Marion Magnet High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. As a sophomore, he averaged 16.5 points per game and was a Class 4A All-State selection. Combo Guard
A combo guard is a basketball player who combines the attributes of a point guard (1) and shooting guard (2), but does not necessarily fit the standard description of either position. In men's basketball, such guards are usually within the 6' 3" (1.91 m) and 6' 5" (1.96 m) height range. Most combo guards tend to be between point and shooting guards in terms of height, although some possess the height of a point or shooting guard specifically which affects how each plays. Combo guards became prominent in the 1990s, when players such as Allen Iverson and Penny Hardaway were switched between playing point guard and shooting guard, depending on offensive and defensive situations. The ''Waco Tribune-Herald'' is an American daily newspaper serving Waco, Texas, and vicinity. Background The newspaper has its roots in five predecessors, beginning with the ''Waco Evening Telephone'' in 1892. The ''Tribune-Herald'' took its current identity when E.S. Ishmail Carzell Wainright (born September 12, 1994) is an American-Ugandan professional basketball player who last played for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Johnathan Landus Motley (born May 4, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for KK Partizan of the Aba League and the EuroLeague. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
