Mark Sinyangwe
Mark Sinyangwe (29 December 1979 – 10 August 2011) was a Zambian football defender. Career Sinyangwe started his soccer career at Chiwempala Leopards in Chingola before moving to Nkana F.C. After featuring for Nkana, Sinyangwe moved on to play for Nchanga Rangers, Green Buffaloes and Power Dynamos before retiring at Kitwe United. Sinyangwe was part of the Zambian 2006 African Nations Cup team, who finished third in group C in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals. The Nchanga mines are a group of copper mining operations near the municipal town of Chingola in Zambia. Nchanga Open Pit Mine The Open Pits at Nchanga Mine are situated in a crescent shaped structure 11 km long around the municipal town of Chingola in Zambia. Covering nearly 30 km² it is the second largest open cast mine in the world. The deepest part of the pit is 400 m lower than the surrounding plateau. Nkana is a section of the city of Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia which started off in the early part of the 20th century as a railway station to support the growing complex of copper mining operations. It was named after Chief Nkana, the local traditional ruler. The Zambia national football team represents Zambia in men's international association football and it is governed by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ). During the 1980s, they were known as the KK 11, after founding president Dr. Kenneth Kaunda ("KK") who ruled Zambia from 1964 to 1991. Mufulira, is a town in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Mufulira means "Place of Abundance and Peace". The town developed around the Mufulira Copper Mine in the 1930s. The town also serves as the administrative capital of Mufulira District. Location Mufulira is located approximately southwest of the town of Mokambo, at the international border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
