Mark William Patterson (born 2 February 1974) is a former Northern Irish cricketer. Patterson was a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Patterson made his List A debut for Ireland against Sussex in the 1995 Benson & Hedges Cup. He made eight further List A appearances for Ireland, the last of which came against Sussex in the 1996 NatWest Trophy. Patterson took 14 wickets in List A cricket for Ireland, which came at an average of 34.57, with best figures of 3/48. While playing against Surrey in the 1996 Benson & Hedges Cup at Woodvale Road, he impressed enough for Surrey to invite him over to England for a trial. He made his debut for Surrey in August 1996 in a first-class match against South Africa A. Mark Patterson (born 24 May 1965) is an English former footballer who made nearly 500 appearances in the Football League playing as a midfielder for Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Bury, Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield United, Southend United and Blackpool. He went on to play, and then to manage, in non-League football. Career Patterson used to be a midfielder playing for a number of clubs over a long career including: Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Bury, Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield United, Southend, Blackpool, Accrington Stanley, Rossendale and Scarborough. Patterson started his coaching career with Scarborough as player-coach and then assistant manager under Russell Slade. Mark Patterson (born 13 September 1968 in Leeds) is an English former professional footballer. He played over 300 Football League matches for Carlisle United, Derby County, Plymouth Argyle and Gillingham between 1986 and 2002. Playing career Patterson began his career as a trainee with Carlisle United, turning professional in 1986, but after just 22 matches was signed by Derby County, then in the First Division for £60,000. He had to wait four years before making his first team debut, which came in November 1991 and, although he appeared to be on the verge of becoming a first-team regular, he was then sidelined by injury for several months and could not regain his place. In July 1993 he moved to Plymouth Argyle, who paid £85,000 for his services. Mark Patterson is a Republican Idaho State Representative who represented District 15 in the B seat from 2012 to 2014. He gained notoriety in 2013 when it was revealed he had lied about a prior sexual assault conviction on his concealed carry permit. Elections Patterson challenged Representative Max Black in the 2010 Republican Primary Election, for District 15, losing by 570 votes. In 2012, Black retired and left the District 15 B seat open. Patterson won the Republican Primary with 60.1 percent of the vote. He went on to win the general election with 53.1 percent of the vote against Democratic nominee Steve Berch.
