Mark Normand
Mark Normand (born September 18, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He began performing stand-up in his hometown New Orleans in 2006. He has performed across the United States and abroad and has appeared on ''Conan (talk show), Conan'', ''The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'' and ''The Late Show with Stephen Colbert''. Normand has been a co-host of a weekly podcast called ''Tuesdays with Stories'' with fellow comedian Joe List since 2013. He also co-hosts the weekly podcast ''We Might be Drunk'' with comedian Sam Morril. Early life and education Normand was born in New Orleans, where he attended De La Salle High School (New Orleans), De La Salle High School. The New York Comedy Festival is an annual comedy festival co-founded by Jarrod Moses and Caroline Hirsch in 2004. The festival is produced in association with Comedy Central, the Huffington Post, and Carolines comedy club located at Times Square in New York City. The New York Comedy Festival is generally held in November, and features some of the biggest names in comedy. The 2015 festival had over 200 comedians in 60 shows and even helped raise money at some of the shows for various good causes. Carolines on Broadway is a venue for stand-up comedy situated at 750 Seventh Avenue, on Broadway between 49th and 50th Streets, in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. History Caroline Hirsch opened Carolines as a cabaret in the Chelsea neighborhood in 1981 with two friends. Hirsch advocated to make it a comedy club and booked Jay Leno as its first performer.
