Mark Mullen
Mark Edward Mullen (born 1961) is a television journalist and the anchorman for NBC affiliate KNSD-TV in San Diego. He joined the station in June, 2010 from ABC News, where he served as a Los Angeles-based correspondent. Prior to ABC, he was Chief Asia Correspondent for NBC News, regularly reporting news on notable Chinese and East Asian current events and contributing in-depth stories about China's changing culture, economy and political system. Mullen also has visited war zones to deliver stories from Iraq. He's covered stories from Europe and from across the U.S., including the aftermath of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. He's also drawn on his experience as a pilot to report on major plane crashes. Mullen attended Loyola University in New Orleans from 1981 to 1987, where he majored in journalism and Spanish. KNSD (channel 39) is a television station in San Diego, California, United States, airing programming from the NBC network. It is owned and operated by the network's NBC Owned Television Stations alongside Poway-licensed Telemundo outlet KUAN-LD (channel 48). KNSD and KUAN-LD share studios on Granite Ridge Drive in the Serra Mesa section of San Diego; through a channel sharing agreement, the two stations transmit using KNSD's spectrum from an antenna southeast of Spring Valley. WLOX
WLOX (channel 13) is a television station licensed to Biloxi, Mississippi, United States, serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast as an affiliate of ABC and CBS. Owned by Gray Television, the station maintains studios on DeBuys Road in Biloxi, and its transmitter is located in unincorporated southern Stone County near McHenry. History WLOX was the first television station on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, having begun operations September 15, 1962. It was owned by the Love family and their WLOX Broadcasting Company along with WLOX radio (AM 1490, now WANG). The station immediately aligned with ABC, an unusual move at the time for what, then as now, was a very small market.
