Mark M. Shelton
Mark McGregor Shelton (born November 8, 1956) is an American physician working as a pediatrician at the Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He previously served as a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives. From 2009 to 2013, he represented House District 97 in Tarrant County. He is a graduate of Arlington's Lamar High School, and received a BS from Baylor University. Shelton completed his medical studies at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Eagle Scout is the highest Ranks in Scouts BSA, achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process. The Eagle Scout rank has been earned by over 2.5 million youth. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badge (Boy Scouts of America), merit badges. The Eagle Scout must demonstrate Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership.
