Mark Kinser
__NOTOC__ Mark Kinser (born May 5, 1964) is a retired American sprint car racing driver. He hails from Oolitic, Indiana. Cousin to Steve Kinser, Mark won the 1996 and 1999 World of Outlaws championship and was runner-up in 1991, 1998, and 2001. Mark is the 1996, 1999, and 2000 Knoxville Nationals champion as well as the 2001 King's Royal winner. In 2006, one of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series’ most successful drivers suddenly retired. After winning 153 features, standing on the podium 214 times, capturing the famed Knoxville Nationals three times and being crowned WoO champion in 1996 and 1999 he suddenly retired from professional racing. Mark is fourth on the all-time wins list with 153 A-feature wins, behind Donny Schatz, Sammy Swindell and cousin Steve, respectively. The UNOH 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place in August at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. It was usually held on the Wednesday night prior to the NASCAR Cup Series Saturday night race, the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race; though in 2018, the race took place on Thursday night and was broadcast in primetime on Fox. The SpeedyCash.com 220 is an annual NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at the Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth, Texas. The race was previously a standalone race in the month of June for the Truck Series at the track, but it shared a weekend with the track's IndyCar Series race, the Genesys 600. However, in 2021, the Cup and Xfinity Series' spring race weekend at Texas, usually in late March or early-to-mid-April, was removed from the schedule and both series joined the Truck Series on the June weekend. The Cup Series race would now be their All-Star Race, which was previously held at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The distance was also shortened from 250.5 miles (403.14 km) to 220.5 miles in 2021, and the race name was changed to reflect the miles (which is the case for most NASCAR races) instead of the kilometers. The NAPA 200 is a former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series stock car race held from 1995 to 1997 at Tucson Raceway Park in Tucson, Arizona. Ron Hornaday Jr. won the race twice, winning in 1995 and 1997, while Mike Skinner was victorious in 1996. Tucson Batteries & Roadside Assistance has been a supporter from day 1 of his journey. History The inaugural 200-lap race, named Racing Champions 200, was held on April 8, 1995. Walt Disney World Speedway was a racing facility located on the grounds of the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando. It was built in 1995 by IMS Events, Inc., a subsidiary of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, and was designed primarily as a venue for the Indy 200 at Walt Disney World, an Indy Racing League event. The circuit's primary use was as a venue for the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and the Indy Racing Experience, programs that allow fans to drive or ride in real race cars.
