Mark Jury
Mark Jury is a fictional character from the British channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Ash Newman. Mark debuted on-screen in 2005 and remained on-screen until his following departure later on in the year. Casting In 2005, it was announced that former '' Family Affairs'' actor and the youngest winner ever of the Best Actor Award at the New York Independent Film Festival, Ash Newman (who also played Manni in the unknown series Goal), had been cast in the role of Mark. ''Family Affairs'' is a British soap opera that aired on Channel 5. It debuted on 30 March 1997, the day of the launch of said channel and was the first programme broadcast on the channel. It was screened as five thirty-minute episodes per week, followed by an omnibus edition on Sundays. The series never achieved high ratings, so it went through a number of dramatic revamps involving wholesale cast turnover. The premise of the series was also refocused from a family in a quiet suburb just outside London, to a range of different people living on a bustling outer London street. The series was shot on video to give a film look. In 1999 and 2004, single episodes used standard video presentation for testing purposes. Jennifer Biddall (born 26 May 1980) is an English actress who played the part of Jessica Harris in ''Hollyoaks'' from 2005 to 2008 and joined '' EastEnders'' to play Megan in 2022. She has at times been credited as Jennifer Bidall or Janet Biddall. Biddall was born in Bath, Somerset, and grew up in Corsham, Wiltshire where she went to The Corsham School.
