Mark Jackson (born 23 August 1982) is an English actor best known for playing artificial lifeform Isaac on the American Fox/Hulu television series '' The Orville'' (2017–present). Early life Mark Jackson was born on in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Europe, to British parents Jill Cornelius, a nurse from Coventry, and Andy Jackson, an engineer from Birkenhead. He has a younger sister named Danielle who works as an environmental professional. ''That Peter Kay Thing'' is a series of six spoof documentaries shown on Channel 4 in 2000. It was written by Peter Kay, Dave Spikey, Neil Fitzmaurice and Gareth Hughes, and was directed by Andrew Gillman. The series was narrated by Andrew Sachs. Set in and around Bolton, each episode functions as a self-contained documentary following a different set of characters, many of them played by Kay. The pilot episode, "The Services", was shown in 1998 as an episode of ''Comedy Lab'', a series which showcases pilots of experimental comedy shows. The Royal Today
''The Royal Today'' is a British medical soap opera, and a spin-off of the similarly themed drama, ''The Royal''. The concept is that whilst ''The Royal'' is set in the late 1960s, ''The Royal Today'' featured the same hospital in the present day, with a new set of characters working in the same location. Each episode followed the events of a single day, and the show was broadcast daily (except for the weekends), so the series could be said to progress in real time. The first series of 50 half-hour episodes began on 7 January 2008 on the ITV network airing from 4 pm-4.30 pm. Although there were a number of running storylines, the series generally eschewed the use of cliffhangers.
