Mark E. Warren is an American political philosopher and Harold and Dorrie Merilees Chair in the Study of Democracy at the University of British Columbia. He is known for his works on political theory. Warren is a winner of the David and Elaine Spitz Prize for his book ''Democracy and Association''. Western Philosophy
Western philosophy encompasses the philosophical thought and work of the Western world. Historically, the term refers to the philosophical thinking of Western culture, beginning with the ancient Greek philosophy of the pre-Socratics.
