Mark Crow
Mark Harvey Crow (born October 22, 1954) is a retired American professional basketball player who spent one season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the New Jersey Nets during the 1977–78 season. He was drafted by the Nets from Duke University in the sixth round (111 overall) during the 1977 NBA Draft. Mark played in Europe from 1978. Playing in Italy, Portugal and Spain. He finished his career in Udine, Italy in 1988. Mark speaks fluent Italian, as well as Spanish and Portuguese. Following his career, he began player management, working with NBA and international player agent Herb Rudoy. Benedictine College Preparatory is a private Roman Catholic military high school in Goochland, Virginia. It is owned and operated by the Benedictine Society of Virginia, part of the American-Cassinese Congregation. Benedictine offers education through a private military institute model, which has long been a traditional form of education for young men in Virginia. History Benedictine College Preparatory was founded in 1911 with 29 students, under the name of Benedictine College, by a group of Benedictine monks from Belmont Abbey in North Carolina. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. 1977 NBA Draft
The 1977 NBA draft was the 31st annual draft of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The draft was held on June 10, 1977, before the 1977–78 season. In this draft, 22 NBA teams took turns selecting amateur U.S. college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. The first two picks in the draft belonged to the teams that finished last in each conference, with the order determined by a coin flip. The Milwaukee Bucks won the coin flip and were awarded the first overall pick, while the Kansas City Kings, who obtained the New York Nets first-round pick in a trade, were awarded the second pick. The remaining first-round picks and the subsequent rounds were assigned to teams in reverse order of their win–loss record in the previous season.
