Mark Cox (tennis)
Mark Cox (born 5 July 1943) is a former tennis player from England, who played professional and amateur tennis in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He was ranked as high as world No. 13 on the ATP rankings (achieving that ranking in August 1977). Cox was educated at Wyggeston Grammar School in Leicester and Millfield School in Somerset. Cox obtained an economics undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge (Downing College), where he was a member of the Cambridge University Lawn Tennis Club. Career He played his first tournament on 3 November 1958 at the Torquay Indoor. During his career, he won twenty singles titles and three doubles titles spanning both the pre-Open Era and Open Era, reached the quarterfinals at the U.S. National Championships (in 1966), and the final at the event in Cincinnati (in 1977). Mark Cox (actor)
Mark Cox (born 25 February 1972) is a Scottish comedian and actor, best known for his role as Tam Mullen in the sitcom ''Still Game''. Cox was born in Springboig, Glasgow, and attended Saint Andrew's Roman Catholic Secondary School in the East End. Cox worked with the creators of ''Still Game'' in the successful sketch show '' Chewin' The Fat''. It was announced in 2006 that Cox would narrate the Roald Dahl favourite, ''Three Little Pigs''. It made its stage debut at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, set to music by composer Paul Patterson. Cox has done some work for Coatbridge College, helping students with their progress through their acting. Mark Hamilton is a British lead guitarist who played for UK rock band Quench, (ICC Records) (on hiatus since 2009) . He has also played for Warner Bros' Top 40 artist Doug Walker and features on Doug's debut album ''Fear Together'' (2009) (produced by Danton Supple – producer of Coldplay's ''X&Y'' etc.) as well as ex Dum Dums frontman Josh Doyle in the US, Vicky Beeching and Martyn Layzell (Survivor Records).
