Mark Clifford
Mark Clifford is a British musician and producer known primarily for his involvement with his band Seefeel. He has been involved in a number of solo and collaborative projects which have resulted in a wide range of material released on many different labels including Warp Records, Rephlex Records, Bella Union, Editions Mego and his own Polyfusia label. Seefeel Seefeel was formed in 1992: Clifford advertising in local classifieds for members. In its earliest incarnation Sarah Peacock, Justin Fletcher and Mark Van Hoen represented guitar/vocals, drums and bass respectively, with Daren Seymour supplanting Van Hoen as the bassist early on. Too Pure signed Seefeel and published their first EPs and LP in 1993. Seefeel decamped to Warp Records in 1994 where they remain signed to this day, having released two LPs and three EPs with them thus far. 1996 also saw the release of a mini album, (CH-VOX) on Rephlex Records. More Like Space
''More Like Space'' is an EP by Seefeel. It was released in 1993 by Too Pure Records. The EP was later included on the compilation album '' Polyfusia'' which was released in 1994 by Astralwerks. Production The tracks on ''More Like Space'' were recorded around the same time as the material for Seefeel's album '' Quique''. Mark Clifford stated that the tracks on ''More Like Space'' were simpler while the tracks on ''Quique'' were more involved and took longer to create. The track "Blue Easy Sleep" was described as "essentially instrumental" "Time to Find Me (Come Inside)" features Sarah Peacock's on vocals while "Come Alive" features vocals from Mark Clifford. Release ''More Like Space'' was released on compact disc by Too Pure Records in 1993. This EP was later combined with the ''Pure, Impure'' EP and released by Astralwerks as the compilation album ''Polyfusia'' on July 22, 1994. Zavoloka (full name, Kateryna Zavoloka) is a contemporary experimental music and electronic music composer, sound artist, improviser, performer and graphic designer from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. She was born in 1981. The word ''zavoloka'' means ''deep fog'' and also ''maverick'' in Ukrainian. Zavoloka's main interests in music are to mix ancient Ukrainian traditions with modern electronic music technology. She combines melodic experimental electronic music with self-recorded Ukrainian folk music. Career In 2003, the Nexsound label released her first album ''Suspenzia''. At the end of 2003 the CD "I" appeared on the American label ''Zeromoon''. Her full-length CD "Plavyna" was debuted at the beginning of 2005 under the Austrian label ''Laton'' and under the Ukrainian label ''Nexsound''. Andrea Parker is a British electronic music producer, record label proprietor and DJ from Pembury, Kent, England. Biography Despite having a background in cello playing, Parker was influenced by electronic pioneers such as Art Of Noise and Jean Michel Jarre. She formed the group Inky Blacknuss with producers Alex Knight and Ian Tregoning in 1993 for Andrew Weatherall's Sabrettes label, before signing to hip hop label Mo' Wax for her solo output, releasing her debut album ''Kiss My Arp'' (a reference to the vintage ARP synthesisers) in 1999. Mira Calix
Chantal Francesca Passamonte (28 October 1969 – 25 March 2022), known professionally as Mira Calix ( ), was a South African-born, British-based audio and visual artist and musician signed to Warp Records. Although her earlier music is almost exclusively electronic, from the 2000s onwards she incorporated writing for classical instrumentation into her musical works and expanded her practice to include multidisciplinary performance, film and multi-channel installation artworks. Robin Guthrie
Robin Andrew Guthrie (born 4 January 1962) is a Scottish musician, songwriter, composer, record producer and audio engineer, best known as the co-founder of the alternative rock band Cocteau Twins. During his career Guthrie has performed guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums and other musical instruments, in addition to programming, sampling and sound processing. Career Following the break-up of Cocteau Twins in 1998, Guthrie released his first solo record, ''Imperial'', in 2003 on Bella Union Records. Otherness (EP)
''Otherness'' is a 1995 EP by Scottish alternative rock band Cocteau Twins, released in October 1995 by Fontana Records. It was issued along with '' Twinlights'' as a teaser for the full-length album '' Milk & Kisses''. It was the group's final EP. Production While it was a companion piece to ''Twinlights'', it was very different in style. ''Otherness'' is a remix EP, the only such record released by the band. The remixer and collaborator was Mark Clifford from the British experimental band Seefeel. All of the EP's tracks were also featured on either previous or future releases. Both "Seekers Who Are Lovers" and "Violaine" appeared on ''Milk and Kisses'' in totally reimagined versions.
