Mark Clemmit
Mark Clemmit, known to many as Clem, is a reporter on BBC One's ''Football Focus''. He is also a member of the channel's studio presentation team on ''Final Score'' and one of the longest established voices on BBC Radio 5 Live. He has also reported for BBC One's topical daily magazine programme, ''The One Show''. Broadcasting career Clemmit has described his broadcasting career as a happy accident. A chance comment on the way home from a football match, led to his idea for a radio fanzine programme, dedicated to his local team – Middlesbrough. Producing and recording a pilot, ''Red Balls On Fire'' was first broadcast in 1998. The programme was initially given a five-week run on BBC Radio Cleveland. Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough ( ) is a town on the southern bank of the River Tees in North Yorkshire, England. It is near the North York Moors national park. BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra (formerly BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra) is a national digital radio station in the United Kingdom, operated by the BBC, and specialising in extended live sports coverage. It is a sister station to BBC Radio 5 Live and shares facilities, presenters and management, and is a department of the BBC North Group division. If a news story breaks during the live sport broadcasts on 5 Live, the sports coverage will be redirected and continued on 5 Sports Extra, whilst 5 Live switches to live news. The station is only available on digital radio, television platforms and BBC Sounds. Due to licensing reasons, since 25 July 2016, international streaming of the station has not been available. The Football League Show
''The Football League Show'' is a BBC One football television show, primarily hosted by Manish Bhasin. It features match highlights from the Championship, League One and League Two. It began on 8 August 2009, at 11:45 pm and immediately followed ''Match of the Day'' on Saturdays. Similar to other BBC Sport studio shows, UK-based users of the BBC website could watch a live simulcast of the programme. The programme was made in Studio C at IMG studios, London. Football League highlights moved to Channel 5 for the 2015–2016 season, thus ending the BBC's version of the programme. Simon Andrew Hicks Mayo (born 21 September 1958) is an English radio presenter and author who worked for BBC Radio from 1982 until 2022. Mayo has presented across three BBC stations for extended periods. From 1986 to 2001 he worked for Radio 1, including a five-year stint on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show. The Royal Television Society (RTS) is a British-based educational charity for the discussion, and analysis of television in all its forms, past, present, and future. It is the oldest television society in the world. It currently has fourteen regional and national centres in the UK, as well as a branch in the Republic of Ireland.
