Mark Bircher
Mark Bircher is a retired Marine Corps Reserve brigadier general, commercial pilot ( Boeing 777), lawyer, scholar, and former Blue Angels pilot. He was a Republican Party candidate in Florida's 13th congressional district special election, 2014. He was the Republican candidate for the 2016 election in Florida's 13th congressional district. Bircher is a graduate of the Naval Academy and the Navy Fighter Weapons School ( TOPGUN). He became a fighter pilot and flew the A-4 Skyhawk and F/A-18 Hornet. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He flew with the Blue Angels for three years. In 2003 he deployed to Iraq. In 2009 he retired from the Marine Corps Reserve as a Brigadier General. Bircher ran as a conservative candidate in the Republican primary in the 2014 special election for Florida's 13th congressional district. The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) is a political action organization dedicated to promoting the ideals of individual liberty, limited government and free market economics within the Republican Party in the United States. Allen West (politician)
Allen Bernard West (born February 7, 1961) is an American politician and retired military officer. A member of the Republican Party, West represented in the United States House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013 and served as the chairman of the Republican Party of Texas from 2020 to 2021. Adelaide Alexander Sink (born June 5, 1948) is an American politician and financier. A member of the Democratic Party, Sink was the Chief Financial Officer for the state of Florida and treasurer on the board of trustees of the Florida State Board of Administration. David Jolly
David Wilson Jolly (born October 31, 1972) is an American attorney, former lobbyist and politician who served as the U.S. representative for Florida's 13th congressional district, based in Pinellas County, from 2014 to 2017. A former Republican, he previously served as general counsel to his predecessor, Bill Young. He won the race for Young's seat in a special election against Democrat Alex Sink.
