Mariya Grozdeva
Maria Zdravkova Grozdeva-Grigorova ( bg, Мария Здравкова Гроздева-Григорова; born on 23 June 1972) is a Bulgarian retired sport shooter, who competed in 25 metre pistol and 10 metre air pistol. She is the only woman to have successfully defended the 25 metre pistol title at the Olympic Games. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Women's 25 metre pistol, and Women's 10 metre air pistol. Apart from her five Olympic medals including two gold medals, Grozdeva also has been successful at CISM World Championships and ISSF World Cups. She is also the current holder of the final world record in 25 metre pistol. Life Grozdeva was born on 23 June 1972 in Sofia. She began shooting at the age of 11, and graduated in sports shooting from the National Sports Academy. She is married to her coach Valeri Grigorov, with whom she has three children. Shooting At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's 25 Metre Pistol
The Women's 25 metre pistol event at the 2012 Olympic Games took place on 1 August 2012 at the Royal Artillery Barracks. The event consisted of two rounds: a qualifier and a final. In the qualifier, each shooter fired 60 shots with a pistol at 25 metres distance. Scores for each shot were in increments of 1, with a maximum score of 10. The first 30 shots were in the precision stage, with series of 5 shots being shot within 5 minutes. The second set of 30 shots gave shooters 3 seconds to take each shot. The top 8 shooters in the qualifying round moved on to the final round. There, they fired an additional 20 shots. These shots scored in increments of .1, with a maximum score of 10.9. They were fired in four sets of 5 rapid fire shots. The total score from all 80 shots was used to determine final ranking. ''VIP Brother 3'' was the third season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was launched on Nova Television on 16 March 2009, and ended on 10 May 2009 with an eleven-hour season finale starting at 3:00 pm and finishing after 1:00 am. This season was confirmed on 31 December 2008 by Niki Kanchev, who returned as a host. He announced that the season would start in March 2009. Later on the same day, Nova Television aired the first promo with the slogan ''Celebrities change destinies''. The show is produced by Niko Tuparev (''Old School Productions'') again. Vessela Letcheva (born 20 May 1964) was born in Veliko Tarnovo and lives in Sofia. She is a shooting sport athlete, president of the Bulgarian Shooting Union, member of the IOC, commission member of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC), former MP, chairman of the State Agency for Youth and Sports (2005-2009) and acting Minister of Youth and Sports in the first and second government of Galab Donev. Letcheva is a graduate of the National Sports Academy. She received a PhD in 2009 in theory and methodology of physical education and sports training.
