Marius Mbaiam
Nekiambé Marius Mbaiam (born 1 June 1987) is a Chadian professional footballer who plays as a striker or midfielder in the Championnat National 3 for Besançon Football. At international level, he represented the Chad national team. Club career Mbaiam was born in Moundou, Chad. transferred from Grenoble Foot to Louhans-Cuiseaux in June 2007. After two years and nine matches, with two scored goals, in summer 2009 he signed for Gap. From 2017, he is a member of Besançon Football. International career Mbaiam made his international debut on 12 October 2003 and was member of the Chad national football team at 2007 CEMAC Cup. He was the part of the team for Fifa World Cup 2006 qualifiers, and Fifa World Cup 2010 qualifiers. Mbaiam scored his first goal on 6 September 2008 against Sudan national football team. The Chad national football team ( ar, منتخب تشاد لكرة القدم, french: Équipe du Tchad de football), nicknamed ''Sao'' ( ar, ساو), represents Chad in international football and is controlled by the Chadian Football Federation, the governing body for football in the country. The team has never qualified for the World Cup finals or Africa Cup of Nations. Home matches are played at the Idriss Mahamat Ouya Stadium. In April 2021, FIFA banned the Chad national football team from participating in global football over the Chadian government's interference with the Chadian Football Federation. Moundou
Moundou () is the second largest city in Chad and is the capital of the region of Logone Occidental. The city lies on the Mbéré River (a tributary of the Western Logone) some 475 kilometres south of the capital N'Djamena. It is the main city of the Ngambai people. Moundou has grown as an industrial centre, home to the Gala Brewery, which produces Chad's most popular beer and the cotton and oil industries. This page details the process of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification phase. Forty-six African nations, including hosts Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, entered the competition. Gabon and Equatorial Guinea automatically qualified as host countries. The other 44 nations were drawn into eleven groups, each containing 4 teams. Togo was later added to Group K after its reinstatement. In each group, teams played each other home and away in a round-robin format. Qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. Each confederation — the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe) — was allocated a certain number of the 32 places at the tournament.
