Marisela Hernandez (born April 24, 1966 as Marisela Esqueda), commonly known as Marisela, is a Mexican-American singer. In 1984, she recorded her first album at the age of 18, and continued to release albums into the 1990s. Her cover version of Barbara George's single "I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)", titled "Ya No", peaked at number-one in the ''Billboard'' Latin Songs chart in 1990. As a child she starred in Villa Alegre. Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernández is the oldest, continuously-occupied Latin music store in New York City, and the Bronx, having opened in 1941. Meehan, the apartment building was built in 1905 and named ''The Manhaset''. The building is a six-story, Neo-Renaissance style building with commercial storefronts on the first floor.
