Marisa Moseley
Marisa Moseley (born March 12, 1982) is the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team. She was announced on March 25, 2021, and will be the eighth head coach in the history of the Badgers. She was previously the head coach of the Boston University Terriers women's basketball team, where she compiled a 45–29 record. 2023 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2023 Big Ten women's basketball tournament was held from March 1–5, 2023 at Target Center in Minneapolis. As the tournament winner, Iowa, received the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. This was the last year of the tournament in which the preliminary rounds were broadcast on Big Ten Network and the final was broadcast on ESPN, as in 2024 these would move to Peacock and CBS, respectively. Seeds All 14 Big Ten schools participated in the tournament. Teams were seeded by 2022–23 Big Ten Conference season record. The top 10 teams received a first-round bye and the top four teams received a double bye. 2021–22 Wisconsin Badgers Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin at Madison during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Badgers are led by first-year head coach Marisa Moseley and play their home games at the Kohl Center as members of the Big Ten Conference. They will compete in the 2021–22 Big Ten Conference season and the 2022 Big Ten women's basketball tournament. Previous season The Badgers finished the 2020–21 season 5–19, including 2–18 in Big Ten play, to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the Big Ten women's tournament to Illinois. After the loss, they fired Jonathan Tsipis. On March 26, 2021, Marisa Moseley was named the 8th coach in the history of the Badgers.
