Maripier Morin (born July 7, 1986) is a Québécoise television presenter, businesswoman and actress. Career Early career (2006–2009) In 2006, Morin made her first appearance on television as a participant in the reality series ''Occupation Double''. Following her elimination, she appeared as a model on ''Le Banquier'', the Quebec adaptation of ''Deal or No Deal''. At the same time, she became a presenter for TVA, appearing on ''Sucré salé'', ''Salut Bonjour Week-end'' and ''Deux Filles le matin''. V, ''Code F'' and business ventures (2010-2014) In 2010, Morin joined the V network as host of the web series ''Planète V'' and after a few months became a reporter for ''C'est extra''. Rivière-du-Loup (; 2021 population 20,118) is a small city on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. The city is the seat for the Rivière-du-Loup Regional County Municipality and the judicial district of Kamouraska. Its one of the largest cities in Bas-Saint-Laurent. History The city was named after the nearby river, whose name means ''Wolf's River'' in French. This name may have come from a native tribe known as "Les Loups" ("The Wolves") or from the many seals, known in French as ''loup-marin'' (sea wolves), once found at the river's mouth. Rivière-du-Loup was established in 1673 as the seigneurie of Sieur Charles-Aubert de la Chesnaye. ''Face au Mur'' (''Facing the Wall'') is a Canadian game show which premiered on January 18, 2018 on TVA. The show, an adaptation of the American game show '' The Wall'' and a Tagline in France, is hosted by Québécois host Maripier Morin. The show ran for one season and the main sponsors are Vidéotron and Nissan. Gameplay The Wall is a four-story-tall (12m) pegboard, similar to a pachinko game or bean machine; it also is similar to the Plinko board used for the pricing game of the same name on '' Price Is Right: À vous de jouer''. The Canadian Open (french: Tournoi de tennis du Canada), also known as the Canada Masters, and currently branded as the National Bank Open presented by Rogers for sponsorship reasons, is an annual tennis tournament held in Ontario and Quebec.
