Marion Foale
Marion A Foale (born 13 March 1939 in Edmonton, London) is an English artist and fashion designer. With Sally Tuffin, she formed one half of the design team behind the 1960s fashion label Foale and Tuffin. Born in London, Foale attended Ilford County High School for Girls, where she entered (and won) several painting contests. After school, she attended Walthamstow College of Art. Two years later, she realized that her love of art would never translate into a career that would sustain her, and decided to attend fashion school. Early years In 1959, she began studying fashion at Royal College of Art under Professor Janey Ironside. Foale studied the three-dimensional construction of garments and how differing fabrics behave by working freely on the tailor’s dummy, making a toile (mock up in calico). Susannah York
Susannah Yolande Fletcher (9 January 1939 – 15 January 2011), known professionally as Susannah York, was an English actress. Her appearances in various films of the 1960s, including '' Tom Jones'' (1963) and '' They Shoot Horses, Don't They?'' (1969), formed the basis of her international reputation. An obituary in '' The Telegraph'' characterised her as "the blue-eyed English rose with the china-white skin and cupid lips who epitomised the sensuality of the swinging sixties", who later "proved that she was a real actor of extraordinary emotional range". Marylebone High Street is a shopping street in London, running sub-parallel to Baker Street and terminating at its northern end at the junction with Marylebone Road. Edmonton is a town in north London, England within the London Borough of Enfield, a local government district of Greater London.
