Marion Barons
The Marion Barons were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the International Hockey League during the 1953–54 season. The Barons were based in Marion, Ohio, played at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and were a farm team of the Cleveland Barons. Minor League
Minor leagues are professional sports leagues which are not regarded as the premier leagues in those sports. Minor league teams tend to play in smaller, less elaborate venues, often competing in smaller cities/markets. This term is used in North America with regard to several organizations competing in various sports. John Gordon 'Johnny' Ingoldsby
John Gordon "Jack" Ingoldsby (June 21, 1924 – August 10, 1982) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played 29 games in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1942 to 1944. In 1924, he weighed 210 at 6'2". Anthony Joseph Poeta (March 4, 1933 – May 2, 2004) was a professional ice hockey player from 1950 to 1960. Poeta played for teams in the National Hockey League, Ontario Hockey Association, American Hockey League, International Hockey League, QHL, Northern Ontario Hockey Association, EOHL, and the European Hockey League. He only played one game in the NHL and that was with the Chicago Black Hawks. In that one game he scored no goals, earned no assists for no points. He also had no penalty minutes. Ehrhardt Heller
Ehrhardt Henry "Ott" Heller (June 2, 1910 – June 15, 1980) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers between 1931 and 1946. He won the Stanley Cup twice with the Rangers, in 1933 and 1940. Originally a right wing, Heller learned to play as a defenseman early in his career. Career Heller started his National Hockey League career with the New York Rangers in 1931, signing with the team as a free agent on November 2, 1931. He would his entire career with the Rangers and retire after the 1946 season. In 1941, he was a member of the NHL All-Star team. He won the Stanley Cup twice, in 1933 and 1940. He served as Captain of the Rangers from 1942 to 1945.
