Mario Van Der Ende
Mario van der Ende (born March 28, 1956, in The Hague, South Holland) is a retired football referee and coordinator from the Netherlands. He is mostly known for supervising five matches in the FIFA World Cup: three in 1994 FIFA World Cup, 1994 and two in 1998 FIFA World Cup, 1998. Van der Ende also officiated one match in the 1996 European Championships, two UEFA Super Cup matches and many in the Champions League. In 1990, he got his FIFA badge as a referee. His hometown is Naarden. On 12 August 2008, Van der Ende was appointed as Caretaker manager, interim technical director for Australia national football (soccer) team, Australia to replace the outgoing Rob Baan. Van der Ende retired from FIFA in 2001, due to cancer. He also appointed to retire many times, but he cured so he made a comeback. Rob Baan
Robert Baan (born 1 April 1943) is a Dutch football coach, appointed to the role of Technical Director for the Indian national team by the AIFF. He was the Technical Director of All India Football Federation. Biography Baan was born in Rotterdam, South Holland. Before joining the Indian team, he served the technical director role for the Netherlands, Feyenoord Rotterdam and ADO Den Haag. While Graham Arnold was the caretaker coach for the Socceroos, Baan, alongside his Technical Director duties, was also briefly the caretaker coach for the Australia Under 23 team. In association footballing terms, a caretaker manager or interim manager is somebody who takes temporary charge of the management of a football team, usually when the regular Manager (association football), manager is dismissed or leaves for a different club.
