Mario Impemba
Mario Impemba (born ) is an American sportscaster, best known as the television play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Tigers from 2002 to 2018. Before working for the Tigers, he announced for the Los Angeles Angels on both television and radio and several minor league teams. Early and personal life Impemba is a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan and a graduate of Stevenson High School and Michigan State University. He and his wife Cathy are parents of two sons, Brett and Daniel. Brett was drafted in the 49th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft by the Detroit Tigers. The Impembas live in Macomb County, Michigan. Michigan State University

2018 Detroit Tigers Season
The 2018 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 118th season. It was the team's first year under a mostly new coaching staff led by new Manager Ron Gardenhire. It was the fourth consecutive season they missed the playoffs, finishing with the same record as the previous season, 64–98, but good for third place in the American League Central division. Matt Shepard (sportscaster)
Matt Shepard (born ) is an American television play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Tigers on Bally Sports Detroit. He has also covered professional, collegiate and high school sports on both television and radio in Metro Detroit since the 1990s. Early life and education Shepard grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He graduated from North Farmington High School in 1983, where he played football and baseball. In 1988, he graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in broadcasting. Career Shepard has served in a variety of roles since being hired by Fox Sports Detroit in 1999. Shepard has done CCHA play-by-play, MHSAA championships (Football & Basketball) play-by-play and fill-in play-by-play for the Pistons and Tigers. John Scott Morris (born May 16, 1955) is an American former professional baseball starting pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 1977 and 1994, mainly for the Detroit Tigers. Morris won 254 games throughout his career. Josh Lewin is an American sportscaster who works as a play-by-play announcer for the UCLA Bruins football and basketball teams. Kirk Harold Gibson (born May 28, 1957) is an American former professional baseball player and manager. A color commentator or expert commentator is a sports commentator who assists the main (play-by-play) commentator, typically by filling in when play is not in progress. The phrase "colour commentator" is primarily used in Canadian English and the phrase "color commentator" is now rarely used in American English as the role is now more commonly known in the USA as "game analyst" or "match analyst". The Pacific Coast League (PCL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Western United States. Along with the International League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB).
